Booster is our answer to all of the phone calls and emails we get asking us "how can I do this without a big, confusing receiver?" With Booster, you can connect up to four audio sources and control them with an easy to use remote control.
The package includes 2 Orb Mod1 speakers and our Booster amplifier. You can upgrade your Orbs to Mod2 or add a subwoofer for additional performance. Add any of our available subwoofers for maximum, full-range performance.
Booster Details
Our new Booster compact amplifier features a low noise, high output amplifier circuit designed to bring out the best from your speakers. The amp has four inputs - 2 stereo mini headphone inputs and 2 stereo RCA inputs. It includes a great remote control and has a subwoofer output if you would like to add a subwoofer for full range, deep bass. Booster is small - only 6" W x 6" D x 1 3/4" H! It also works with 110V and 220/240V and can be enjoyed by both our US and overseas clients.

Booster is an excellent way to bring our award-winning sound to your home, without an unnecessarily large, expensive and complicated home theater receiver. It's great for bedrooms, kitchens and anywhere else you want audio or video. If you are looking for more (like surround sound, video processing or more power), don't forget our home theater speakers, stereo systems and complete home theater packages.
Subwoofers
You can add a subwoofer to Booster for full-range performance for both music and video. We have three compact models to choose from. The Super Eight is our most popular subwoofer and is the subwoofer we package with our award-winning home theater systems. It is compact (about 12" on each side) and powerful.
The Uber Ten subwoofer is overkill for most people, but sometimes overkill is what you want. If you have a large room or are addicted to deep bass, the Uber Ten will deliver performance of a much larger, more expensive subwoofer. The Uber Ten is about 13 1/2" on each side.
The Yamaha slimline subwoofer is a good choice if you want a smaller subwoofer or are trying to stick to a budget. It is more than enough bass for most situations and is a very nice size. The price/performance on this unit is quite good, at only $139. This sub is only about 6 1/2" tall and about 13 1/2 inches wide and deep.
Connecting Components To Booster
Booster uses standard mini headphone and stereo RCA inputs. Mini headphone inputs are the type of connection on an iPhone or other music player. Stereo RCA inputs are the common red and white connectors found on almost all home audio compoenents. You may already have the cables necessary to make these connections, or we have some basic cables available for $6.
