Just Released -- DENON DVD-1800BD! Add Blu- Ray to your system today! Denon's brand new, state of the art Blu Ray player is the perfect foundation for your high definition home theater. This great unit has all of the critical features you want, at a price that comes in hundreds of dollars below the other offerings from Denon and other high quality manufacturers. This is a great way to get Denon quality at a reasonable price.
In fact, many are saying that Denon's new DVD-1800BD Blu-ray Disc Player is one of the best combinations of price and performance, and this is the first Denon Blu Ray player to break the $1,000 barrier. A lot of thinking went in to this particular player, since Denon is known for making high quality electronics that are somewhat more well regarded than lower priced competitors. To create a $749 Blu Ray player, Denon took a look at the features that people need in a Blu Ray player and delivered them all in one high performance, easy to use package.
The DVD-1800BD features 1080p output via HDMI, and your movies and video have never looked better. The player also supports all of your disc formats...Blu Ray, DVD and CD, as well as popular PC formats, such as MP3, WMA and JPG. The player also is capable of 1080p/24p video output, which is optimized for material on film.
Additionally, this unit will upconvert standard definition DVDs to 1080p. This is a great feature as most people have more content on DVD than on Blu Ray.
For the music lover, Denon has included 2 channel Burr-Brown D/A converters and a high quality analog stereo signal path. That means CDs will sound fantastic on this player.
Also, the player features an SD card slot, and it can play audio from SD cards or additional material downloaded from the internet to be played together with certain Blu Ray discs.
All in all, this is a great Blu Ray player and it is a high quality, well built component. If you are looking to add Blu Ray to your system, this could be the perfect chance to get Denon quality at a great price.
Please note that this player supports multi-channel audio/surround sound via digital output. The legacy analog 7.1 outputs have been omitted and been replaced by the Burr Brown supported stereo analog outputs. This means if you have an HDMI receiver, you have nothing to worry about. If you have an older receiver, you will use the coaxial digital output or the stereo analog output. Almost all receivers will have both of these options available. |
