• Positive-Feedback.com.....Whether for music or movies, there are many compelling reasons to choose a 2.1 stereo speaker system like the Orb Audio Classic One ($529)—though aesthetic appeal may be the least of them. Longtime audiophiles can skip past the following bullet points, but for everyone else, now is a good time to review the many potential advantages of a well-executed sub/sat setup, including:....

• Trusted Reviews: People's Choice Review • Read rave review HERE....You many not have heard of Orb Audio before, but this small US-based company is generating a bit of buzz in its home country with a range of impressive-sounding yet enticingly-priced speakers, which in their words deliver the ‘best bang for the buck’.....

• Home Theater Review....Bookshelf Speakers: Orb Audio Mod4 Speakers
Orb Audio is one of the best success stories in the AV business and their Mod 4 speaker system is at the core of their success. They are one of the best-sounding speakers under $1,000 a pair, in a shape that works with HDTV-centric installations....

• Engadget.com...Hey, do you like things that sound good? That's funny, we do too. In a world jam-packed with mass-produced, perfectly adequate home-theater-in-a-box solutions, it can be really hard to differentiate between speaker solutions for your computer, TV, or stereo system. It takes a lot for small-scale, high-quality systems to stand out and justify their costs, especially when entire surround kits can be had for under a hundred bucks. But like that song said that one time, you can't put a price tag on love. Orb Audio's eponymously constructed speakers are little works of art that you can rearrange to suit your taste, budget, and decor -- but are they a good solution for you? It's a good question!....

The Next Web....If you’ve not caught the idea by now, I’m a sucker for audio gear. So when a brand that I’ve watched for years, Orb Audio, got in touch to offer me a chance to review their futuristic-looking home theater system dubbed The People’s Choice, I was ecstatic. Though due to technical difficulties I’ve had very little hands-on time with the system, I can tell you what I know, and that is that Orb Audio has produced a home theater speaker system with quality that belies not only its size, but most notably its price.....

Digital Home Thoughts....Orb Audio: Not Found in Big-Box Retail Stores
If you're anything like me, when it's time to go shopping for a home theatre sound system, you typically go down to your local electronics retail store and look at the brand names you've heard of for years: Bose, Harman Kardon, Klipsch, or maybe some names from car audio you've heard of such as Polk. Or maybe it's a "house brand" of speaker. Regardless of the name, these speaker systems all tend to look pretty similar, and a decent one will likely cost you north of $1000 USD once you include the sub-woofer, speaker wire, etc. I found myself needing a new system after my Harman Kardon system started having trouble - specifically, the sub-woofer would cut out, or not power on at all until 20 minutes into the movie, and it was getting frustrating. I'd already had to have one of the satellites replaced, so I was pretty fed up with the lack of quality I was seeing. It was time for something new, and I figured I'd might as well review whatever product I decided to try out!....

The Gadgeteer....Do you enjoy going to the theater to watch movies, or do you prefer to stay home? For myself, I’d much rather just stay home for several reasons. One reason is that gas prices are crazy and the nearest theater is approximately 16 miles away from where I live. Then there’s the fact that my Lazy Boy recliner is much more comfortable than any seat in a theater… and, I don’t have to worry about a tall person blocking my view. Another reason I prefer to stay home, is the big screen movie feel that I get from my 65″ RPTV. Orb Audio just gave me another reason to never leave my house again. They sent me their Mod2 Home Theater System to review. Let’s check it out…

• Audioholics..Mod 4 Wins Product Of The Year Award ..Orb Audio has presented a refreshingly contemporary speaker system that somewhat miraculously couples big, expansive sound with a relatively small form factor. The system is almost infinitely expandable and, with the exception of a few ergonomic snafus, seems very well suited for anyone looking to fill a small to medium-sized room with rich, full sound. We were very pleased with the definition, soundstage and imaging of the speakers. Both music and feature films sounded fantastic on this system. It seemed to us that the Mod4 system was fairly room-agnostic and will sound good in a whole host of differing environments. If you're looking to spend "cube speaker" prices but actually want a system that can play down low and make you feel the bass, the Mod4 system is for you....
