Adjustable, clean installation on your wall or ceiling junction box. The MultiPlate wall and ceiling mounts are the same basic mount design as our MultiMount, combined with a standard single junction box wall plate. They are easy to install and blend seamlessly with the Orb style, disappearing behind the speaker once installed. The MultiPlate is compatible with our Mod1 and Mod2 speakers (both the Mod1 and Mod2 require only one mount per speaker). As a wall or ceiling mount, the MultiPlate offers excellent adjustability -- you can change the angle of the MultiPlate to reach almost any point in the room.
Available in vertical or horizontal options if you are using with a Mod2 speaker. The MultiPlate is available with hardware for either horizontal or vertical mounting when using with a Mod2 (double Orbs). Stack the Orbs or put them side by side. If using with a Mod1 (single Orb), there is no orientation to choose because the speaker is round.

Additionally, all Orb speakers feature a standard 1/4"-20 threaded insert that works with many commercially available mounts.

Which Mounts Do I Need?
The general rule is that your front speakers will sound best if you place them as close to ear level as possible, however there is definitely quite a bit of flexibility because the Orbs have a very wide sweet spot. You do not have to be afraid to mount the Orbs on the wall or ceiling if this is the best design option for you.
Up to 6 feet - Use our Stud Zero or BOSS Wall Mounts
Above 6 feet - Use our MultiMount/MultiPlate, BOSS Wall Mounts or Stud Thirty
Ceiling - Use our MultiMount/MultiPlate
We encounter some common questions when it comes to wall mounts and placement of speakers:

Can I put speakers in the 4 corners of the room? Yes, you can. This will still sound good. Use our MultiMounts or MultiPlates for adjustability. Most speakers will lose a little breadth of soundstage when placed up high in the corners, but the Orbs actually sound quite good because they have a very big sweet spot. Try to mount them at ear level as a first choice, but if not, don't sweat it.

Do the Orbs work with other wall mounts? Yes, they do. The Mod1 and Mod2 have a 1/4" threaded insert that is one of the standards in the industry. Certain mounts from OmniMount, Panavise and Btech (and many other manufacturers) fit our speakers as well.
